Low latency is our own streaming cloud. It runs on our own infrastructure and network, so we control the whole path from signal ingest to delivery to viewers. What the service offers:
- live streaming, including a low-latency mode for events where every second of delay counts,
- video on demand (VOD),
- recording of live streams to an archive for later playback as VOD,
- transcoding to multiple renditions with adaptive bitrate, so the picture adapts to each viewer’s device and connection,
- per-stream authentication – access controlled separately for each stream,
- DRM content protection,
- restreaming – simultaneous forwarding of a live stream to YouTube and Facebook. Customers have access to a helpdesk and technical support. Beyond the service itself, we can design the network and servers for your own streaming facility or recording archive.
